Horse osteopath & equine massage in Kent, Surrey & Sussex

Equine osteopathy and animal osteopathy: Jennifer is an equine osteopath (horse osteopath) and animal osteopath. A mobile horse osteopath and horse massage therapist who comes to your yard in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, and also treats dogs and other small animals. Each session starts with your horse’s history, then a dynamic and static assessment to find areas of pain, heat and discomfort. I treat those areas and finish with advice and exercises for you to do with your horse. I also treat small animals.

Examination & osteopathic treatment

I start with your horse’s history, then assess it with dynamic and static observations. Areas of pain, heat and discomfort are identified and treated with gentle osteopathic techniques, never forced. You then receive advice and exercises to do with your horse.

Massage

Up to 1 h 30. Loosens tight muscles and joints, stretches connective tissue, relieves cramps and spasms, reduces muscle fatigue, improves range of motion and muscle strength, calms the nervous system, stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage, and helps healing after injury.

Examination & treatment for small pets

I mainly work with horses but also treat smaller animals. I ask about your pet’s history, then use dynamic and static observations to find painful, warm or uncomfortable areas, and recommend exercises to ease the symptoms.

Where possible, sessions at the same yard are grouped to reduce travel fees.

Veterinary consent is a legal requirement before a first treatment. With your agreement, I contact your vet for you.
